Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark opened in June of 2000. The park is home to more than 30 rides and attractions, including slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. The park's signature ride is the "Pirate's Plunge," a six-story water slide that sends riders down a 300-foot-long flume at up to 40 miles per hour. Other popular rides at Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark include the "Corkscrew," the "Dragon's Den," and the "Tidal Wave." In addition to rides, the park also features several restaurants and shops. The park is open seasonally from late May through early September. Admission to Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark is $39 for adults and $29 for children ages three to nine. Annual passes to the park are also available for purchase.
